If you work, giving as you earn is arguably the easiest way for you to donate to Westcare Incorporated.
Coming straight from your pay, and before tax, you can choose to have your donations paid to Westcare, through a Payroll Giving Scheme.
Providing that your employer offers Payroll Giving, it could not be simpler. You just ask your employer to deduct regular charitable donations from your pay. There are no cheques to pay or direct debits to set up.

How does payroll giving work?
It's as easy as 1-2-3
1. Employees ask their employers to enter into a payroll giving arrangement
2. Employees nominate Westcare as their preferred charity, and that they wish to make a regular donation (for example, fortnightly or monthly) as well as the donation amount
3. The donation is paid directly by the employer to Westcare
When employers calculate the amount to be withheld from the employee's salary each pay period, they will deduct the employee's donation amount to Westcare from the gross salary before referring to the appropriate tax table.
Does my employer offer this scheme?
Ask your employer's payroll department if they offer Payroll Giving. If they don't, suggest that they start. It is easy and inexpensive to run. Please let us know and we will help you set it up.
