Introduction
Westcare Industries, the trading arm of Westcare Incorporated, provides employment and training for people with disabilities to enhance their lifestyles and to assist transition to independent and respected members of society.

Westcare Industries focuses on being profitable but not at the expense of the people with disabilities we employ. We have a very strong work ethos and our people are paid according to their abilities. They are supervised only to the extent needed to ensure they are properly trained to be useful and productive people - from which they derive strong social benefits.
Westcare has been in business for fifty five years and has been changing constantly. The rate of change in recent times is probably more rapid than it has ever been as we seek to provide disability employment that is more relevant to modern ideals. It would be very difficult to describe the Westcare businesses as "sheltered workshops" in the institutionalised sense they may have once perceived to have been.
We aim to be commercially competitive in price, quality and service in everything we do. At the end of the day that is the only yardstick for a business such as Westcare. This is what drives us to be better employers for the benefit of the organisation's sustainability and the people we employ.
Westcare Industries can help you devise solutions to your business problems. Here are a few possibilities:
Printing (business cards, letterheads, brochures, posters, safety tags, manila folders and labels etc) we also do hand folding, mailing (pick and pack)
Box making (hand crafted stapled, covered and dies cut boxes) - used for industries such as manufacturing, craft, fashion, hospitals, mining, storage etc.
Industrial Packaging (hand finishing/packing solutions) - part assemblies, collating, folding, inserting of items into envelopes, label application and heat sealing
Safety clothing (design and manufacture safety clothing) - we supply high visibility safety vests, singlets, shirts, wet weather gear, ponchos and more
Food packaging (packing dry food products) - we currently work for national and international manufacturers and distributors in this industry.
