Bequests

What is a bequest?
A bequest is a gift or donation in a will and is an honourable way of giving back to the community.

Naming Westcare Incorporated in your will is a powerful, yet simple act of generosity.
Bequests to Westcare Incorporated go into enhancing our efforts to empower the lives of people with disabilities and assist their transition into the community.

Bequests ensure future generations of people with disabilities benefit from the services provided by Westcare Incorporated.

Bequests in the past have helped us to:

  • Employ and train more people with disabilities
  • Upgrading our equipment and facilities
  • Contribute to Tuberculosis research
  • Build new accommodation for people with disabilities

We rely on these very personal and significant contributions to ensure the continuance of our work. Making a Will

Should you wish to remember the Association in your will we suggest the following wording:

“I bequeath to Westcare Incorporated of 75 Carrington Street, Nedlands in the State of Western Australia, the sum of $……….. and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of Westcare Incorporated shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Trustee(s) for such bequest.”
